The Aire Rivers Trust are pleased to advertise this Invitation to Tender for Natural Flood Management, wetland creation and surface water outfall mitigation works.

The primary material outputs of this development are focused on flood risk reduction, habitat creation and improvement, and water quality improvement.
The works involve:
Material modification of existing engineered wetland structure in order to create improved flood storage and wetland habitat
Re-naturalising Pitty Beck with the creation of a channel bypass, backwater and increased channel diversity
Installation of timber leaky barriers in order to improve flood plain function
Creation of new wetland treatment cell in order to mitigate pollutants from a large surface water outfall
Tender submissions must be submitted by email to John.Franklin@AireRiversTrust.org.uk or in writing to Aire Rivers Trust, Bizspace, Albion Mills Business Centre, Greengates, Bradford, BD10 9TQ to arrive no later than 1700 on Thursday 10th April 2025.
