Bellbusk Viaduct

In partnership with Skipton Wellbeing Walks, we are delivering river walks along the River Aire.

A bus-to-bus walk down the river from Airton, taking in Newfield Hall, Bell Busk & Coniston Cold. Meet Airton Bus Stop 10:20am. Take the 09:50am Malham Bus from Skipton. (Please Note The Walk does not return include a return walk to the start point)

The first short 1.6mile section initially heads North out of Aireton to reach the river then turns South to follow a flat scenic route South down the River to New Field Hall where participants can exit the route via bus or return to the start. The second 3mile route climbs on the Pennine Way over Eshton Moor, then descends to re-join the River at Bell Busk. The walk concludes by following the road and river to meet the return Bus at Coniston Cold. It is advised to join this walk at Skipton Bus Station to allow a return to the starting to be achieved via bus.

Participants are advised to wear walking boots, warm and waterproof clothing. Packed lunch and drinks are required, alongside any personal medication needed. The use of walking poles is recommended. Participants walk at their own risk. If you wish to bring a dog please contact Sam on 07456 481797 before attending.
