Safe Working By Water Awareness training

May 20 @ 10:00 am - May 21 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Invaluable training if you volunteer along the River Aire. Learn how to safe around rivers.

This popular class run by River Mountain Experience shows you how to work safely by water and use aquatic PPE. In the classroom, you will learn about the hazards of rivers and try on equipment like lifejackets. Outside, we will learn how to use throw ropes.

This course is free for any volunteers. Aire Rivers Trust volunteers will be given priority. However spaces are available for other conservation organisations and angling clubs along the River Aire.

If demand is high, we hope to run this course twice. Email sharon.redmond@aireriverstrust.org.uk to be added to the waiting list.

Please include your name, phone number and which organisation you volunteer with.

This event is dependent on government restrictions. Training will take place in Bradford.

Please let us know if you want this training but can only make another day in the week.
