We couldn’t care for the Aire without volunteers.

Volunteering offers a huge range of rewards. Swap the rush of everyday life for the calmness of being by water. Meet new people or learn new skills.

We run practical conservation sessions on Thursdays or Fridays nearly all year round. If you would like to know where we are in next couple of weeks please email contact@aireriverstrust.org.uk or call 01274 623400.

Other volunteer opportunities are seasonal, like Community Outreach, or done in your own time on a regular basis, like River Monitors.

We pay volunteer travel expenses and loan equipment to make volunteering safe and fun (such as safety boots).

The Aire Rivers Trust runs regular training for both its volunteers and other organisations working on and using the river.

We have a range of regular volunteer opportunities. You can see a sample of these below. We recruit and support our volunteers through the Better Impact app. Its simple and easy to register.
