What we do

The work of our volunteers is extremely varied and takes place along the riverbank from Leeds to the top of the Aire valley.

Countryside management

Learn traditional countryside management techniques, including scything and hedge-laying to protect and care for riverside habitats.

Help improve access to nature and keep the river at the heart of our communities by maintaining footpaths, footbridges, and urban pocket parks.

We recruit and support our volunteers through the Better Impact app. Its simple and easy to register.
