At the Aire Rivers Trust we’re the only environmental charity dedicated to looking after the Aire and its tributaries. We work to improve our rivers through habitat enhancement, reducing pollution, and improving access and education. We aim to punch above our weight with exciting new projects across the catchment, from the stunning Malham Cove to the hidden Bradford Beck and beyond.

Our most important asset is our people: we want to recruit the best. You will join a friendly and committed team of experts passionate about improving the River Aire and the streams that feed it.

Project Manager - 2 roles

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Our offices in Greengates, Bradford. Hybrid.

Reports to: Programme Manager

We are recruiting for two exciting opportunities: Project Manager (Development)  and Project Manager (Technical). Through a single application process, candidates can be considered for either or both roles.

The Development role focuses on advancing new project opportunities, securing funding, building partnerships, and managing a team of Project Officers.
The Technical role focuses on management of river enhancement projects, specifically improvements to fish passage, barrier removal and natiural flood management.

Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary: £29,612 per annum pro rata

Contract: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

Location: Hybrid working including our offices in Greengates, Bradford.

Do you want to use your communications and marketing skills to make a real difference for people and nature?

In this varied role, you'll lead engaging campaigns that showcase our work, grow our digital presence, create compelling content across multiple channels, and build relationships with communities, partners and the media. You will also lead on how we can communicate more effectively within the organisation. Your work will play a key role in increasing awareness of our river restoration projects, volunteering opportunities and community initiatives, helping to build support for a healthier River Aire.
