Your River
We took a long time discussing whether we should talk about “the river,” “our river” or “your river.” Mostly we talk about your river because we believe that a river that is taken into the heart of people’s communities is a river that will thrive.
The Aire Rivers Trust believe that by understanding your river people can be better advocates for their river. We can all be voices for change.
Rivers can be emotive sources of discussion. River users, land managers and ecologists can have quite different ideas of what an ideal river looks like. We hope by sharing knowledge we can created shared understanding.
We hope these will help you explore your river.
